The spine in scientific terminology, is an essential part of human anatomy. It is also a complex architecture, made of structures that are both bone, ligament and articular as well as muscular and nervous. The spine itself is composed of parts called vertebrae, divided into five segments:
• Dorsal, or thoracic;
• Sacral (that is, the sacrum);
• Coccygeal (in other words, the coccyx).
The first three segments form the movable part of the spine, the last two the fixed part. Without even being aware of it, we ask for our spine permanently. In the static position, first, the spine supporting both the weight of the head and that of the body, while ensuring postural support. With each effort or movement, then the joints and intervertebral ligaments are then mobilized.
